Our funding comes from donations and memorials and fundraisers. Our funds are used for patient Aid, with 100% of all proceeds going directly to the patient program.
The Porter County Cancer Society would like to extend their invitation to any Porter County resident who may be afflicated with cancer to get in touch with us for financial aid and morale support.
Direct financial aid available for chemotherapy, x-rays, and other treatment, medication, physicians and hospital cost.
Wigs are available, free of charge, to any patient who has been approved by our board for financial help.
HOW TO GET HELP
Persons requesting aid must be a Porter County resident, for at least 60 days, in order to obtain aid from the Porter County Cancer Society. A general application needs to be filled out along with a Doctor's statement confirming the type of cancer that the applicant has. Families of deceased patients remain eligible for a period of time. No fee is required.
